The sound system at Project One is one of a kind. Our sound engineer, Mike Gallanter has created a masterpiece of sound. The specs are below. To really understand, you need to come down one night and listen.

8000 SERIES L O U D S P E A K E R S Y S T E M
Engineered and manufactured by Apogee Sound. The 8000 with their attendant P-8001 processor, provide enough power for the largest events. The wide range response (38Hz – 17 kHz) provides true high fidelity output. The 8000 consist of twin, high power 15″ (380mm) cone drivers employing “linear-drive” technology for the low end, a 10″ (250 mm) cone driver coupled to an advanced, low resonant horn for the mid-range and a 1″ (25mm) throat proprietary fluid-cooled compression driver coupled to a constant directionality horn featuring extended high frequency response and exceptionally low distortion. The 8000 Series is by no means limited to one form of music like many so-called “rock n’ roll” speakers. Artist 8000s can faithfully reproduce the subtleties of jazz, pop or classical, while providing explosive dynamics for rock, fusion and rave style music. In particular, the exceptionally smooth mid-range response provides a natural reproduction of vocals and acoustical instruments, with a sound closer to high-end audiophile equipment rather than typical PA gear.

Two-way, by amplified speaker.
Low Frequency: One Apogee 12″(305mm) permanent magnet cone-type driver.
High Frequency: One Apogee 1″(25mm) throat composite diaphragm compression driver is treated with Ferrofluid® for greater power handling capability, lower distortion.

AE-12s2 SUBWOOFER SYSTEM delivers a deep, accurate response, adding power and intense impact without “muddying” or coloring the upper frequencies.
Dual Apogee 18″(460mm) permanent magnet cone-type drivers are treated with a waterproofing compound, providing resistance to moisture, and enabling long-term stability of cone resonance and cone mass parameters; also treated with Ferrofluid® for greater power handling capability, lower distortion, and control of short-term impedance rise Single-amped/Electronically-coupled
