After a much-too long hiatus for reasons unknown (well, and because JZ is returning to SF from Tokyo for the first time in over a year), we’re very excited to bring you this 2009 ‘reboot’ of the legendary SF cub night, “MELON”!
Brought to you by Red Melon, one of the original purveyors of the SF/West Coast tech-house sound, prior “MELON” nights have rocked dancefloors around the Bay and the globe since the late 90’s. Along with residents Dano and JZ, past guest DJs include such int’l luminaries as Terry Lee Brown, Jr., Josh Wink, Ralph Lawson, Chus & Ceballos, Darren Emerson, Inland Knights, Circulation, Wamdue Kids, David Alvarado, and etc.
This evening is going to be a reunion of sorts, with Red Melon stalwarts JZ & Dano taking up the reins for the much of the evening along with a few Red Melon DJ friends joining the ride.
The return of “MELON” has been a long-time coming so don’t miss this rare tech-house extravaganza.
