Tall Chair announced they will be hosting a launch party on Thursday July 29th, 2010 at Project One in San Francisco. The event will be exclusive for industry and press from 7pm-8pm and open to the public 8 pm to midnight. The event features content from the game, a question and answer session with the creators, entertainment and a surprise treat for fans of the game.

Come Celebrate With Us!
Join us for an exciting evening filled with light hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and the opportunity to learn how we can take a stand against modern day slavery.

July 30th will mark the official launch of Sanctuary Spring. Sanctuary Spring is a new line of beautiful, handcrafted greeting cards made by Filipina women rescued from human trafficking. Because the women have limited job opportunities, Sanctuary Spring is a critical lifeline that provides safe, dignifying and empowering work to help these women forge a new life. Our entire line of cards will be on display that evening, and also available for purchase on site.

Net proceeds from the launch party will help benefit the Freedom House. Freedom House is 501(C)(3) nonprofit that is opening a shelter home for survivors of human trafficking in the San Francisco area. This August, Freedom House will be opening the first shelter in the area dedicated to caring for adult survivors of human trafficking. We will be collecting donations at the event to furnish this new shelter. Needed items can be found on registries at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond.

The $5 Art Party cordially invites you to join us as we celebrate friendship, good vibrations, and affordable art at our new and exciting venue: Project 1 gallery!

The $5 Art Parties are a celebration of affordable art. Anyone can

bring art, trade art, buy art, but mainly just have fun. As

always, if you have some art you’d like to sell… bring it! Anything

and everything is welcome, all we ask is that you price your art at

$20 or less. If you’re bringing art, we ask that you check in with

us so we’ll have a good idea of the number of artists coming so we can accomodate. If you don’t know until the last minute, that’s

okay too… bring art anyway!
